

Cranston Mayor Slams Providence Plans For Traffic Change
Cranston Mayor Allan Fung is calling on Providence to halt plans to reroute traffic on a road near the Cranston border. Fung hosted a community forum on the proposed change Tuesday evening. At issue is the change from two-way to one-way traffic along F. C. Greene Memorial Boulevard, a road which loops along the outer edge of Roger Williams Park. CRANSTON, R.I. — The City Council voted unanimously Monday evening to approve a zone change that will allow the construction of a Dollar General store at Park Avenue and Dyer Street. $10M surplus brightens budget debate
